Requirements:
- 30 Day Emergency Substitute Permit issued by the California Teaching Commission which requires the following:(http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/cl505p.pdf)
- Hold a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university; and
- Pass a Basic Skills Test (http://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/cl667.pdf)

LiveScan (fingerprint) service is available by appointment only. Please call 916-566-1600 x32105 to schedule your appointment.
Volunteers must bring Volunteer/Chaperone Application signed by the principal from the school site, valid driver's license or DMV-issued picture identification and a negative tuberculosis test (TB results can be within 4 years of application date).
Fingerprinting is at no charge for volunteers.
For employment applicants (payment is accepted by cash only; please bring exact amount). We cannot accept personal checks, debit or credit cards.
