DISTRICT ENGLISH LEARNER ADVISORY COMMITTEE (DELAC) AND ENGLISH LEARNER ADVISORY COMMITTEE (eLAC)
Purpose:
The purpose of District English Learner Advisory Committee (DELAC) is to discuss the needs of district English Learners (ELs). It is a legally mandated committee and officially advises the district on certain matters concerning ELs.
Composition of DELAC:
Each school site elects a parent representative to attend each meeting. All parents, staff, and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Work GroupTop of Page
Purpose:
This work group takes a closer look at the goals, actions, and services in the TRUSD's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) and actively solicits input from a wide variety of stakeholders in our community. The group's progress and findings are reported to the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC).

The LCAP work group is comprised of parents, community members, school administrators, and other staff representing unduplicated, i.e.low income, English learner, and foster youth, pupils.

The Local control Funding Formula (LCFF) statute recommends that a Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) be established to provide advice to the TRUSD Board of Trustees and the superintendent regarding the district's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)

PAC is comprised of school administrators, School Site Council (SSC) chairs, DELAC elected representatives, English learner point people and/or teachers, and any other interested member vested in TRUSD. PAC must include parents or legal guardians of unduplicated, i.e.low income, English learner, and foster youth, pupils.
