Intradistrict Open Enrollment Transfers - NOW CLOSED FOR THE 18-19 SCHOOL YEAR
An Intradistrict Open Enrollment Transfer gives permission for attendance at a district school other than that designated by the established attendance area. The Twin Rivers Unified School District intradistrict open enrollment transfer process is now centralized in the district office. Intradistrict open enrollment transfers will be evaluated by the Twin Rivers Unified School District Student Services Department based upon the following criteria:
- Space Availability at the requested school program or grade.
- Special program needs of the student can be met satisfactorily at the requested school
- The parent/guardian will provide transportation for their child to and from school.
- The 2019-2020 intradistrict open enrollment transfer request process timeline is from January 7, 2019-February 14, 2019.

- The parent/guardian of the student gets form from school site or district office and returns form to the Twin Rivers Unified School District Office, Student Services Department, Bay C, 5115 Dudley Blvd., McClellan, CA, 95652.
- Parent/Guardian must return this form for district office approval to the Twin Rivers Unified School District Office at 5115 Dudley, Blvd., McClellan, Ca 95652.
- Once a decision is made by the district office a copy is sent to the home school and given to the parent. If approved, district staff notifies the new school, parent, and notes transfer in Aeries. This decision shall not take more than 14 days. Final approvals will be made by March 5, 2018.
- If the parent/guardian disagrees with the decision, they may contact Adam Saldana in Student Services Department at (916) 566-1620.

- Permit is valid for the remainder of the time the child is enrolled in the school provided space is available
- Approval is subject to space availability.
- If more requests for transfer than spaces are available at a site/grade level/program, a random unbiased lottery will take effect.
- Transportation is not provided.
- Parent/Guardian must return this form for district office approval to the Twin Rivers Unified School District Office at 5115 Dudley, Blvd., McClellan, Ca 95652.
- Students transferring from one high school to another without a valid change of address may be ineligible from varsity level competition in all sports in which they competed in their previous school for one calendar year. (C.I.F. Bylaw 207.B.)
